Resume

I have a strong foundation in computer science built through my education at Texas A&M. Gaining hands on experience at Raytheon, Treat Technologies, and my service in the U.S. Army has further expanded my skills in software development, networking, and data structures. This has exposed me to a variety of modern tools and techniques that have expanded my skills outside the schooling environment.

Work Experience

Raytheon Technologies, ISS - Software Infrastructure Intern May - August 2025 | Aurora, CO

At Raytheon, I worked on internal tooling and containerized infrastructure. I built and deployed Docker images in a Kubernetes cluster and automated node configuration using Ansible. One highlight was evaluating Alloy as a logging tool replacement for Promtail, a task that pushed me into new territory. I wasn't just handed instructions, I had to research, understand, and contribute to a migration path based on technical feasibility.

Working in this environment taught me how large, secure systems are maintained, and what it means to think ahead, beyond just getting something to work. I also participated in Agile team rituals like PI planning and biweekly scrum standups, where communication was just as important as technical progress.

This experience was a greater look into what paths I can take going into the computer science field. It showed my what DevSecOps and infrastructure engineering is, and has given me a better understanding on how to develop code.

Treat Technologies - Software Developer Intern July - August 2024 | Dallas, TX

As part of a small engineering team, I worked on both the frontend (React) and backend (Python/Flask) of a web platform. Due to the fact that this was a startup, I had to teach myself how to implement unfamiliar features constantly. Weekly code reviews helped me understand what production ready actually means, and I left this role not only more confident in my skills but also more interested in the business side of development.

This internship taught me how development decisions affect users directly. This made me think more thoroughly about usability, accessibility, and deployment, not just writing functioning code.

U.S. Army, Texas National Guard - IT Specialist June 2021 - Present | San Antonio, TX

My time in the Army has taught me how to think clearly and act decisively under pressure.

As an IT Specialist, I've worked on system configuration, some cybersecurity implementation, and troubleshooting mission-critical systems.
